Week 3

Day 21.3.2022

Today I woke up normally and made my breakfast bread for the workplace. Today was good weather again and it would get up to 17C so that's cool :D. Anyway, today at work I helped Nico with boxing and everything that I could help in. But I didn't have much to do other than that. I was told today more about the coming Thursday and that I was going to the field with couple programmers and that we are going to a different city to test out things in a convention room. When I had my own time I looked up something to do and got something to do :D. After the workday, I thought I would have my brother evening games, but I didn't but we still ordered something because we got some random gift card from mail to uber eats. We wanted to try if the coupons would work but they didn't but we used so much time figuring it out that we still just ordered something. So no food picture for today. After we ate, we played a little bit of Dead by Daylight and then went to sleep.

Day 22.3.2022

Today I woke up pretty well and went straight to shower. After the shower, I made my bread for the work and then off I went with my bike. Today at work I pretty much did the same things that I did yesterday, so boxing stuff if needed and helped Nico with anything if was needed, which wasn't much and did my own things while I waited for next tasks. Today later Mitch (one of the programmers) came to me and talked to me a bit about the Thursday thing. We exchanged numbers and I gave him him our apartment address so that he can come pick me up at 8 am. After that he went to do his things and I continued mine and that was pretty much it for the day. Today after the work everyone wanted something cheap and easy, so we went to buy some groceries and stuff for it. Basically we made macaroni with minced meat (no it wasn't macaroni casserole just meat and macaroni) and put some cucumber and salad. Surprisingly enough, it tasted alright with some garlic sauce :D. After we ate, we played a little bit and then went to sleep.

Day 23.3.2022

Today I woke up just normally and made my bread for the work. I took my bike and went off to the amazing adventure of cycling to work. Today at work I didn't do much other than helped Nico if he needed it and brought my laptop to do my own things. Also today I tried some new coffees (not a coffee drinker), I tried it out and it was okay, just not my thing I guess. Also I went to see what the coders were doing later during the day and talked to them a bit and went back to my office to do my things.

After the work day we DIDN'T go to grocery store, because we bought todays food yesterday. So today we made some shrimp noodles with tuna fish. It was pretty good but I think normal noodles would have been better and a little bit less of tuna fish (and also tuna fish in water and not in oil). I forgot to take picture of it so that's too bad. After we ate I went outside and looked at some ducks and a river that was outside, it was such a good weather so I didn't want to miss it. I also went to Action (a shop) to buy some random sweets. After I came back we played a little bit of Dead by Daylight and that was pretty much the day.

Day 24.3.2022

Today I woke up at 7 am which was a little weird feeling since I have been sleeping till 8 am :D. Anyway I made my bread and waited for Mitch to come and pick me up so we can go to the work field. Mitch came at somewhere 8.04 or something and then we started to drive to Lelystad which was basically next to Amsterdam. We were at Lelystad somewhere at 9:20 or something, so it was quite the travel. Today at work we went to the city hall of Lelystad and went to make some debugging in the convention room. The room was HUGE and filled with microphones and seats and voting systems and with screens and everything. Mitch first showed the backstage room and got us some tee and coffee. After that they told me a little about the things we are going to do, the first thing we did was well, debugging and trying out if there was some bugs and after that we tried the voting system.

The voting works with a device that is attached to a table and it has 3 button with different functions. 1st for agreeing on vote 2nd for disagreeing on vote and 3rd one for getting the speech turn. When you pressed the speech turn the cameras in the room focused on the table that pressed the button, and showed it in the screen on the room and for the people in the internet. It was really cool to see how the votes formed on the screen. After we did the first test, Mitch wanted to show me the equipment that runs all of the cameras, screens, vote systems, the automated curtain settings and everything. He showed me one of those big computer rooms which I only have seen in the internet and in movies. It was really cool looking but at the same time SO complicated. I couldn't think that one of those cable boxes with like 25 ports would be filled ever but they only had space for like 3 and it was so full :D.

Anyway, after all of that we tried the voting one more time and then Mitch showed me the last couple rooms in the building and after that we went back to the car and back to Groningen. This day was really cool and was glad that I got to see all of this. After the work, me and Patrick went to the grocery store to get some ingredients for todays food which was tortillas, again :D. We made the chicken filled ones and with a different sauce and it was really good. After we ate we I wanted to chill in the bed and just, be. Today was a rough day so :D

Day 25.3.2022

Today I woke up normally and made my bread for todays work and then packed my things and went to the work place with Patrick. At work, I didn't do much today but I asked if I will have something for next week, and there might be something but I don't know yet, I'm going to ask next Monday :D. But yeah, I did my own things and if Nico needed my help, I was there to do something. Overall, quite uneventful day. After the workday me and Essi went to get some groceries and the ingredients for todays food. And for today we made some delicious salad that I ate quite a lot of :D. After that we just chilled in the house and played some games together and had a good time. Tomorrow we are going to go into an adventure to check some new places.

Day 26.3.2022

Today I woke up late cause I stayed pretty long yesterday so yeah. Anyway, the clock was around 11.00 am and I ate breakfast and then we chilled home for a little bit before we went outside.

Once the clock was somewhere at 13.00 pm and we went off to a gaming shop called Game Mania. It was really cool to go here once more and this time we saw new stuff. We saw a lot of different games and figures and collectables. We decided that we would get couple pokemon tcg packs and open them for funs :D. After that we went to Jumbo (the grocery store we usually go to) and after that we went to Action. After we got our things for today, we decided to go somewhere to eat, and so we went to burger king cause, why not. I got to say it wasn't nowhere near as good as in Finland but it was okay.

After we ate we went back to home and then chilled and talked about D&D and played some Dead by Daylight and I played League of Legends for a bit.

Day 27.3.2022

Today I woke up really early but it felt like forever. Anyway, the clock was half past 9 am and I went to the shower and after that got me some breakfast. Today we didn't intend to go anywhere because Essi had a D&D campaign to be done at 4 pm and I want that all of us go to some new places.

So for today, me and Patrick went to get some groceries and after that went to Action to get some random sweets and smoothies (I don't understand how this business isn't bankrupt, everything is so cheap) but yeah, we got ingredients for nacho plate. I made some avocado salsa, roasted texmex seasoned minced meat. Put a sheet metal, put chips in the bottom, meat on top and put some texmex cheese, put it in oven for couple minutes so that the cheese got melt and there it was. Put the avocado salsa and normal salsa on top and DAAAAMN it was good. But yeah after that we ate it for the rest of the evening and played a little bit of Dead by Daylight and made my DnD campaign.
